Grilled Fish "Tanjung Alam" — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Was referred to this eatery via my resort F&B recommendation (yes, Lilin Beach Resort actually had a list of eateries at Lovina area in case you want to dine outside the resort). At night, we could not see the beach which would have been otherwise a beautiful setting for meals (especially during lunch or early evening). Overall the dishes were fair and reasonably tasty and fresh. The meat fish was grilled over coconut husks and smothered in a layer of herbs. Great taste and non-fishy. The rest of the items like grilled chicken thigh, sotong, prawns were just passable, served on melamine plates. Reasonable price, just don't expect fine-dining. Service reasonably brisk but you need to prod the staff a little to quicken the pace. But relax..you...

The grill fish tasted delicious, and also the coconut ice tasted sweet. But there's some opinion from me also some questions. Is that you always pouring that flavour on your grilled fish? If you so, you need to improve a new and better flavour, I know you are mixing onion and kunyit most on your grilled fish, and that can't made us felt. Ohh... This is absolutely a secret flavour. And also sorry to say, the plecing kangkung is good. But I haven't eat it all anyway. I mean that was, less . Sorry. And also the coconut it wasn't fresh if you serve it in a glass.. I think you have to change it.

That's all I want to say. But thankfully you choose the good place to create a restaurant....

Was there yesterday with my mom, grilled fish was nice and fresh sambal also nice and spicy if you love spicy you will definitely like it, we can also order some condiment like ‘plecing kangkung’ if you like spicy and ‘cah kangkung’ if you don’t like spicy, we got also sambal bawang matah main ingredient are shallots with chopped chilli and a little oil mix which taste so fresh and ya of course it will make you breath stinky, they have huge selection of the drinks. Staff was helpful . The view was not so good at that time because of the rain all wet but its fine, the price was affordable, overall satisfied,...
